The Rotating Basket Washing Systems ROTIMAT 3 are compact, self-standing systems, that are transportable as a single unit. The factory floor is a suitable set-up surface. Special preparation is not necessary. Simply connect the various utilities, after that the machine can be filled, heated and put into operation. All models are filled, heated and undergo a test run before despatch.

WORK ROUTINE

The work pieces to be cleaned are laid in a basket, set up on a roller table or conveyer and pushed into the basket rotation device. Using a selection switch the basket movement is set up in the work chamber, and comprises either a continuous rotation or swivelling movement over a programmable angle. On the upper half and lower half of the work chamber you will find a spray pipe. The cleaning spray hits the rotating basket of parts from all sides. The arrangement of the spray pipes and the spray nozzles are set up, so that, the turning motion of the basket ensures that strongly adhered parts, as well as, parts with blind holes and threading are reliably cleaned. The drying of the work pieces is achieved in the closed work chamber by the part's own residual heat energy. This process is strengthened through the exhaust of the vapor mist and, at the same time, supply of room air into the chamber. After the completion of the programmed washing and drying times the basket is automatically placed in the horizontal position. An optical signal shows that the cover of the work chamber can be opened and the cleaned goods are to be removed. A thermostat controls the electrical heating of the cleaning solution. Heating and pumping components are protected against running dry. The water vapor mist is exhausted through an integrated exhaust pipe and blown into the open air.

OPERATOR & SERVICE FRIENDLY

A large strainer-filter continuously removes chips and other insolubles out of the cleaning bath. Easy access makes it simple to service the machine. All operating and control elements are found on the electrical cabinet. They are located in such a way that any operational error by the operator is impossible.
